COCOA BUTTER

Cocoa butter is an emollient that has been used for centuries in Africa as a skin care product. It has been used to heal and moisturize skin that has been exposed to the elements. It also helps reduce the formation of stretch marks during pregnancy by keeping the skin supple. It makes a wonderful ingredient in lotion bars, lip balms, body butters, soaps and belly balms for expectant mothers. Cocoa butter is also a great binder for bath bombs!

GREEN TEA

Besides its merits as a flavorful, tasty, social drink, green tea has numerous positive effects on health. A Chinese proverb says: “It is better to drink green tea than to take medicine.” In Japan also green tea is known as the source of “Everlasting Youth and Longevity.” These benefits have been specified in various books, journals, newspapers, and TV reports. In Japan, Eisai’s ( a famous monk ) book “Maintaining Health by Drinking Tea” is among the first works on the topic. The healing properties of tea derive from its richness in vitamins and similar elements.

HONEY

Unprocessed honey found in ancient tombs was determined to be edible and was even used to preserve body moisture longer and is believed to be one of nature’s oldest healing agents. It has natural antiseptic, antibiotic and anti-inflammatory properties; it soothes, softens, and moisturizes skin. Honey can be used in the improvement of cellular regeneration, and help skin recover from exposure to the environment.

OATMEAL

Oats provide one of the best remedies for feeding the nervous system, especially when under stress. The oat remedy is considered a specific in cases of nervous debility and exhaustion when associated with depression. It may be used with most of the other nerviness, both relaxant and stimulatory, to strengthen the whole of the nervous system. It is also used in general debility. The high levels of silicic acid in the straw will explain its use as a remedy for skin conditions, especially in external applications.

RAW CANE SUGAR

Scientific clinical studies for Glycolic Acid have actually proven results that have been very difficult to prove for other skin-care products.
